Effective at the opening this morning Metro Resources
Company Limited was posted and called for trading on the Vancouver Stock Exchange. The
company is classified as an "Advanced" company and trades under the symbol
"MRL".
Through its 27.5 percent interest in Asia Pacific Potash Corporation, Metro Resources
Company is engaged in the exploration and development of the potash mineralization
situated
in the Udon Thani Concession in north eastern Thailand.
Metro Resources Company has completed its initial distribution of shares to the public for
total gross proceeds of $1,600,000 (2,000,000 shares at $0.80 per share).
The company's capitalization is 200 million common shares with no par value of which
47,450,000 shares are currently issued and outstanding (including 750,000 shares in
escrow). Montreal Trust Company of Canada is the transfer agent and Canaccord Capital
Corp. is the sponsoring member.
