As part of the introduction of the new S&P/CDNX Composite Index, the following changes have been made to the CDNX historical market data product line.

1. End of Day Index Information

At the close of business on December 7, 2001, the existing CDNX Index, CDNX Mining Index, CDNX Oil and Gas Index and the CDNX Technology Index were discontinued. Historical daily and monthly index pricing information, as well as historical index constituent information, remain on www.cdnx.com in their existing location, ftp.cdnx.com/CDNXIndicators.

Effective December 10, 2001, end of day information for the new S&P/CDNX Composite Index is available on www.cdnx.com. This includes daily and monthly index pricing information, as well as daily changes to index constituents. The information is available at ftp.cdnx.com/SPCDNXIndex.

2. Publication Changes

The December 7, 2001 issue of the CDNX Daily Record was the last issue to contain CDNX Index, CDNX Mining Index, CDNX Oil and Gas Index and CDNX Technology Index information. Effective December 10, 2001, the CDNX Daily Record contains the new S&P/CDNX Composite Index information.

The November 2001 issue of the CDNX Monthly Review is the last issue to contain CDNX Index, CDNX Mining Index, CDNX Oil and Gas Index and CDNX Technology Index information. The December issue of the CDNX Monthly Review is the first issue to contain the new S&P/CDNX Composite Index information.

The 2001 issue of the CDNX Annual Review will be the last version to contain CDNX Index, CDNX Mining Index, CDNX Oil and Gas Index and CDNX Technology Index information. The issue will also contain information on the new S&P/CDNX Composite Index.
