CDNX offers new investor research tool
CALGARY, AB (April 4, 2001) The
Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX) and World Investor Link Inc. have signed an agreement
that provides The Annual Reports Service to investors and listed companies from
the CDNX Web site.
The service makes it easier for investors to obtain a
company's annual report and other investor information, while listed companies can
disseminate valuable and timely information to a wider audience of investors and potential
investors.
"By adding this service to the CDNX Web site, we are
helping investors with their due diligence," says Glenn Knowles, Director of Market
Information Services for CDNX. "They are able to order investor information including
an annual report easily, and for free. In addition, listed companies can attract, inform,
and gather information about serious investors at a very reasonable cost."
Companies who participate can be recognized in the CDNX
stock pages section of The Globe and Mail by the " "
symbol next to a stock price. Investors can call a toll-free number or go to the CDNX
website (www.cdnx.com) to obtain that companys
corporate and financial information.
The Annual Reports Service is available in nine countries through
more than 100 premiere financial media partners and serves over 3,500 public companies,
including many listed on the TSE, NASDAQ/ AMEX and NYSE. More information about the
