CDNX MARKET CLOSES

 

September 11, 2001 (CALGARY) --In response to the events today in the United States, the Canadian Venture Exchange has closed, effective 10:40 a.m. EDT, in conjunction with the TSE and Montreal Exchange.

CDNX will monitor the situation and will issue a news release if an extended closure is planned.
